This session can include all MM or MS staff! Our goal is to better understand the use of the ITP and not only it's implementation in the classroom, but also through the support of the WE CARE Transition Team! We will explore new "Road Maps" that have been created for MM and MS so that our classrooms are working in partnership with the Job Developers (aka Transition Specialists) to provide transition activities, assessments, and services. Our goal is to help our students with special needs to be prepared for college, career, and independent life after high school and it takes ALL OF US to get them ready! Come to this session and walk away with a teacher friendly road map for transition preparation for 9-12+ grade. You will also have a special treat to learn about how we are increasing access to CTE for SWD and how you can help students turn obstacles into opportunities through career preparation!
